S90 Timing Belt Replacement Interval S90-V90

Took my wife's S90 to my local Volvo mechanic for 70,000 mile service. He performed the service plus some extras I requested. He, however, did not replace the timing belt which surprised me. He explained to me that he would change it at 75,000 miles. He inspected the belt and saw no cracks and said that it was in very good shape. I was concerned but he told me that it would be OK. I trust this mechanic but now I'm worried. I plan to inspect the belt myself and am capable of replacing myself if I have to.

Should I be concern??
