How much is your "worrying" worth. The first time I did the job on my 960 it only took 2 hours from hood up to hood down. Now that I've done the job once, I consider it an easy, after the kids are in bed, one evening job.
The only "special" tool needed is large bench vice or, I used a big "C" clamp to compress the tensioner. A nail of the right size to lock the tensioner after you have it ompressed. It pushes back real hard so you need the largest nail that will fit. Otherwise it will bend.
