Hey all- Am new to the brickboard and so excited to get so much information! I am having some terrible probs with my 91 740 though, and I hope I can get some feedback, as a boring ol' Honda is looking good right now.
First, I pulled the radio out a few weeks ago. I pulled on some wires and have regretted it ever since. 1st, the radio didn't work. Seems the amp might have a blown fuse?? Then the overdrive kept burning out fuses. Finally, it didn't blow fuses, but it seems the relay died. Then, a few days later, it wouldn't start. When i pull on some wires and fool around with the fuses, it will sometimes start; it is hesitant though. Any ideas? I don't want to pay a mechanic to tear it apart at this time. It seems there is a short, but I have looked everywhere, including under the console, and no bare wires. Any input would be very appreciated!
