240 turbo - this is mind boggling! 200 1982

my turbo 240 ran fine until you hit 3000+ RPM and then it would loose power. i change the whole exhaust system and this improved some, but still it would cut out sometime after 3000+ RPM. tonight i reset the 02 sensor and it helped even more. 1st gear will rev fine to any level no power lose and no sputter. the rest of hte gears i will loose power at 3000 RPM +. thanks
