Installing new front fenders. How? 120-130 1966

So i got two new front fenders and a hood for my '66 4-door from the wrecker (as a result of a crash i posted about a while ago). I put the new hood on today and that worked fine, but i was going to unbolt the fender, when i realized that my old ones are riveted on. Is this how they should be? Or did someone get creative? What's the best way to get this old fender off, and do i bolt the new one? or rivet it? I just need to loosly bolt the new stuff on, then drive it to the body shop where it's going to get all aligned and done properly. Any help with how the fenders are attached?
