1984 240 cruise control question 200 1983

I have a used factory cruise control to install on the 1983 240 my daughter drives. There are a blue and a gray wire which are supposed to connect to the back of the speedometer. The recipient car does not have the spade connectors, on the back of the speedometer, to connect these two wires to. Do I need to get another speedometer, or is there a kit to install spade connectors on the existing speedometer?
