Hello all! A few weeks ago the left turn signal lense for my 740 broke and came off. I looked on the internet for a while, and it seemed that you coulnd't just replace the lens by itself, you had to replace the turn signal housing assembly completely since the lens itself is glued to it. Anyways, I purchased a new turn signal from eEuroParts, and it has recently arrived -- but I am not sure what the 'reccomended' approach for installation is.
I searched all the archives here before I decided to ask this question, but I didn't find anything that seemed to be relevant to the 740. Basically their are two bolts which pass through the frount of the turn signal housing and then apparently secure 'somewhere in the back'. If I am looking under the hood, facing the left headlight/turn signal assembly area from behind, I can see a number of bolts, but a lot of them seem to be attached to the black plate that all of the lights attach to rather than directly to the turn signal.
I think I have a good idea which two bolts are the correct ones, but I just wanted to check to see if I was in the right ballpark before messing things up ever worse. Thank you very much for any information offered!
