windshield washer adjust 700 1989

I recently replaced my washer nozzle on the passenger side as I had been trying to clean it with a piece of mig welding wire which broke off inside. The new jet an original and new Volvo part seems a bit out of adjustment, it only hits the windshield at about 130 km/h I have tried to adjust as most cars with a pin in the hole but it doesn't seem to budge. Are the jets handed ? ie left and right or are they adjustible at all.
