Oil Cooler 900 1994

Does anyone know if the 94 940T has an oil cooler? I just picked up this really nice car but I just discovered that the oil lines that come off the filter adapter and appear to be oil cooler lines have been cut and sealed off; not very good because they are leaking. Looks like someone just removed the cooler. Would it be ok to leave it (of course fix the leak) or should I try and track down a cooler and put it back on; that is of course if there was one there to begin with.
