1986 240 wagon

Daughter describes noise as a "weedeater" noise when she accelerates from stop that lasts a few seconds. I am pretty sure that it will be the exhaust rattling against the body some where. Later today I should be able to get under the car. Other than checking the mounting hardware, is there a common fault. I would like to spend my sunshiny Saturday doing something other than laying under her car. Of course, if I have to be under a car, at least it is a Volvo. (:>
