I checked out my flame trap on my kjet....and the funny thing was that it was clean. It was changed about 3 months ago...and there wasn't that much buildup on it.
What really surpirsed me was the amount of gunk in the bigger hose connected to the Y. There was like solid sludge built up in there. It really scared me to see grease so hardened up. I poured about 1/4 a gallon of gasoline in there....and it helped a bit....but that hose definately needs to be replaced sometime soon or more likely flushed with carb cleaner.
I had thought my flame trap was plugged up due to the amount of air coming out when the cap was off....but now i see i was mistaken. The car passed the jiggle test(the cap would definatly stay on and not move)...so the air was from all the things that move the valves.
Btw....the thing is nearly impossible to get out....i had to remove my idle air motor to get to it. I still feel like there is not enough suction so i'm going to get some carb cleaner and tackle the oil seperator box...i'ts probably somewhat gunked up.
Anyways...thanks for all the help
