I am just finishing up my M41 rebuild but have a small problem. How do I get the input shaft and OD output shaft seals out to replace? I have 2 new input seals. One has the metal housing and one doesn't. I assume I should use the housed one but don't know how to get the current housing out. Must I have it pressed out? More importantly, is it possible to change the OD rear seal without dismantling the OD? I have braved the tranny but am not as brazen as to challenge the OD (maybe in another 12 years). If it is possible, will I need a puller for this task? I would hate to just start tearing 'em up and paying for it later. Someone please help me!!!
