1981 B21F: My oil pressure light on the dash doesn't come on when I turn the key to the first position. When I jump the sender wire to ground it comes on like it should with key turned one notch. I'm assuming this indicates a bad oil pressure sender. Is this a safe bet? Should it be replaced with a Volvo part or is a CarQuest part OK for this application? Or can these just be cleaned and reinstalled?
