Our 95 940T with 93K miles is going in for its annual state inspection soon. I think the exhaust may need to be replaced - it is not making a lot of noise, but there is a lot of rust and looks very brittle in spots. It is all original (except the tail pipe) which I am impressed by, given the amount of salt used on the roads in the winter here in Pennsylvania. I had to replace the tail pipe a couple of years ago because it had totally rusted away.

I am thinking about ordering the exhaust system before the inspection so I have it ready if it is needed and the shop can just install it. IPD only has a Sport version with 1 muffler for $348 and fcp has Starla cmponents which total about $150. I would like to go with the closest thing to the OEM, given that it has lasted this long. Any thoughts. Is there another alternative I should look at?
