Keyless entry wiring question 700 1987

I recently purchased a keyless entry unit and an aftermarket motor for the drivers door. From what I gather, the motor can be wired in parallel with the rear door motor, is this correct? Additonally, where is the best place to tap into power and ground wires for the receiver?
