Ignition Control Unit 200

No start due to bad connection at ICU (I wiggle it while my wife turns the key and it starts).

So I bought the "sleeves". First one I put onto an ICU pin pushed the female part of the connection deeper into the connector from the ignition wiring harness. My question, now, is twofold:

1. How do I fix the female connector?
2. How is one supposed to get the sleeve on without errantly pushing the female into the connector from the wiring harness? OR is there a better way to solve this than with the sleeves?
