Brakelight switch noise through radio S90-V90 1998

My 1998 S90 AM radio static was insufferable, functioned more like an audio tachometer. I added a grounding wire from radio chassis to a dashboard bracket bolt and radio is 99% fixed. Only problem remaining is that each time I step on the brakes there is a static burst through radio/speakers. Anybody have the fix for this one ?
