Watched a PBS-type program t'other day about the dangers to kiddos riding in a van 2nd or 3rd row in the seat having only a lap belt. Bad stuff, guys. Same in pick-em-up trucks with lap belts only.
Showed pix of crash dummies in those seats - they were almost ripped in half!
Then the screen was filled with a clean white car fender and bright chrome 544.
Announcer smoothly said just what I thought he would "Volvo patented the three-point seat belt in 1957".
Be happy in the car designed for people, not speed or a zoomy appearance. Remember any 1957 US marques with - ugh - tail fins?
Veni vidi Volvo
Regards to all,
Bob
