Auto trans hangs in 1st when cold !!! 200

First of all I want to say hi to all!! This is my 1st post here!! (Newbie).

I have an 84 240 Auto. On cold start trans will not shift from first for a very long time. When it finally does it is a very hard shift. The downshift to first when coming to a stop is also delayed. When cold will not downshift at all and takes off in second.

Any help appreciated. I have already fixed all of the OD electrical related issues (I had all 4 on this one...lol).
