1986 740 Turbo Wiring Questions 700

I have a 86 740 Turbo, on the wiring harness right next to the coil there is a 8 Pin Main Wiring Harness connector that goes into the car.

There is also a small 3 plu connector. There are 3 wires total 2 being black (ground) and the other 1 being a gray wire. What does that gray control and where does it go?


Any help would be great.
