One of my neighbors doesn't like me, or at least my 145.
Someone punched a hole in the rear lower left corner of my 145's gas
tank. I can't have the car totally imobolized even if I don't drive it
much I need to be able to drive it at will. I was thinking that I could
fit a bolt slathered with JB weld into the hole (which is pretty round)
to plug the hole until I can get the car more into a condition where I
can restore it (repaint it, get gas tank fixed, etc). Will JB weld
resist gasoline in this situation? Are there better substances I
could use? I'm planning on buying a house so I'm not going to worry
about neighbors too much, except I may park my car on a street elsewhere
after I get the tank fixed. Geez,if they wanted me to move the car you'd
think a note would be good enough, and besides a hole in my gas tank
isn't going to help me get the car out of the parking lot...
