heat dependent voltmeter reading?alternator Voltage regulator? 700 1990

80A alternator,14 yr old,VR also 14 yrs old.
Noticed volt gauge goes down to near 10(red) when idling in hot weather,but I could not hear the aux fan being turned on.
in colder weather,idles at 13 -14.
Reverses also at 11-12 Volt
idle LCD voltmeter check at battery 13.3 V,car off 12.4-12.5V
one month ago(colder) was near 13.9,car off 12.5-12.6

Diagnosis?
When is it heat dependent and reverse dependent?"
