You know how a washing maching shakes and makes that horrible noise when the load is off balance? Well, that's what my car does. It makes a loud knocking noise and shakes just like an off-balance washing machine. FYI: The knock sensor was replace prior to this happening because a wiring harness that was installed shorted it out.
