TPS upgrade??? Megasquirt and such... 140-160

Just a question for the people who have either upgraded their Throttle Potision Switch along with swapping the brain for the megasquirt or people who may have just upgraded the TPS for some other reason. I've seen a couple of these done now, one used a TPS from I believe it was a saturn and another from a Volvo 850 I am sure there are others out there too that I don't know of. Basically I was wondering why this upgrade was done. I recall that the saturn TPS was cheaper but am not sure if the same holds true of the 850. Is there something incompatable with the original TPS that demands you make the upgrade or is the newer TPS more reliable? I'm just basically wondering why this mod was done.
