Another reason I work on my own car; how about you? 900 1991

Checking my no start problem, I checked the RPM sensor. Noticed bolt on sensor was not tight. Why? Because the garage that replaced it did not consider the soft alloy casting and torqued it and stripped the threads.

This is added to a long list of things such as backward strut mounting plates, brake shims hanging out the caliper, one drive shaft bolt missing and other ready to fall off, tires with fixed rotation mounted backwards and others.

This is why I work on my own car when I can. How about you.

Gary
