I'm not familiar with 240 wagons, but now I have one. It's an '84 DL that started it's life in Rhode Island, then moved to Kansas. It's now in Georgia and appears to have a very clean, straight body with virtually no rust visible from the outside. But on the inside in the rear there is some rust-through on the right side below the window near the rear seat belt anchor. A quick inspection of the wheel well looked okay. The car has a roof rack. Is this cosmetic or is this something to run from? The car has 136k on it, with all the maintainance records- even the original window sticker. It drives like new, straight and true. Vinyl seats have no rips, glass is good, etc. It's a real gem, except for that rust. Need I be concerned?
Thanks,
Mark
