How do you remove inner door handles? 1800 1973

I am trying to open the passenger door from the outside-it won't. further complicating this procedure is that the passenger door handle is missing on the inside. I want to borrow the handle from the drivers door as a substitute, but I can't see how to remove it. Thanks for the help.
