This weekend I decided to get started on the replacement of all my brake rotors. Trust me they were in dire need of replacement. I releaized that there might be some rust from hub to rotor although when I got into the front rotors they would not budge for the life of me. I tried everything in my power and even contiplated a few other things that might work. I used pentration stuff, hammer, sledge hammer, and brute force. I have an inkling that these rotors are stock and were never replaced or turned at all, since the cars birth. I am seeking some help as to a trick that might work for such an application. I dont really want to invest in puller that size, or remove the hub bearings and rod (not even sure if that would work cause from the exploded view of the hub assembly it looks as though the hub itself has a retaining bolt too. which is behind the rotor.) HMMMMMMMMMMMM. Will time only tell if I apply enough pentration stuff on and into the area that needs to be released? I look forward to hearing any kind of feedback.
