How to remove dial glass from gauges 200

OK, I think I got it correct this time. Ignore my first try please. Here goes: Is it possible to remove the dial glass from 52mm Volvo gauges? If so, how is this done? I need to remove some gunk from the backsides of the glasses in my gauges. Thanks much for your advice.
