diagnostic help for a possible Head Gasket leak. 700 1990

1990 740 GLE 16 valve wagon

I replaced the head gasket about 500 miles ago and haven't driven the car very much due to other circumstances. My question is....is there a diagnostic method to absolutely detect a head gasket leak? I am selling the car and I want to be absolutely sure there is no chance of a leak existing at the current time. The reason I suspect a leak is that I noticed a very very slight increase in oil level on the dipstick. I have seen no foam or sludge in the cap or on the dipstick.
