Power seat dead - manual adjustment? 700 1988

Power seats on my wife's '88 760.

A few of the controls on the driver's side didn't work so I took them apart and gave them a nice cleaning with electrical contact cleaner and now they all work fine.

All the controls work on the passenger side except for the one that moves the seat forward. I attempted to remove the controls so I could clean the switches, but because the seat is all the way back, there's not nearly enough slack in the wiring harness to remove the controls.

I consulted Haynes and it stated that there was something that allowed a person to use a screwdriver to manually move the seat around, but after nearly an hour of fishing around looking for the control, I could not find what they described.

Is it missing or am I just not looking in the right place? Has anyone else had trouble finding the adjustment wand thingie? Is there another way to move the seat forward?
