Alloy Cam gear? 140-160 1974

What's the best advice on cam gear replacement? 1974 b20f.

I pulled this engine apart and the cam and lifters seems new, not touched at all, while rod and crank bearings are well worn. Pan gasket dissolved, looked original. Cam cover gasket replaced, so I suspect newer cam. 2 bores still have some crosshatch. Everything mics to spec 250k miles. I feel very lucky. When I get the cam gear off I'll ID or mic the cam, I hope tonight.

I remember hearing there is an alloy NAPA part number for the cam gear.
There was some question on durability. Anyone have the thread?
Does it mate with the steel crank gear?
Is it strong? Is it quiet? Is it cheap? Is it wise?
Does anyone have a b30 steel set they'd be willing ot part with?
