Ok all my 740t is still not running, so we took out the carpeting to try to access the gas tank..I did that but the only thing thats there is just a small square hole that i can barely get my hand through. I can see the top of the tank though, so i guess I'd have to go under the car to get the tank out right? cause i dont see any other way to just go in at it through the trunk...i dont dont wanna have to get under the car, but ill do it for the love of our brick...see i really dont know what im doing..i mean i can pretty much figure out what NOT to mess with but other then that im not the greatest, and whats worse is that im considered car savy one because ive fixed the car a few times,(i.e oil and filter,alternater,brakes)basically preventive matainence....thats about it, we've had to push the car around the neighborhood because it cant be parked anywhere for longer then 72 hours or someone will get it towed, and we dont have a drive way ether so that just makes this more difficult. I need to see whats in the tank itself because someone keeps dumping things in the tank(even though we got a locking gas cap) my bf forgets to lock it! rrrggghhhh he lost his whole key ring (car key,house keys bedroom key, AND GAS CAP KEY) but luckily i have a copy of every key that was on his ring on mine. So to cut this off before it becomes an book, would it be ok to unscrew the lid thing to the gas tank through to trunk in that little hole were you can only get your hand in? i see a lid that looks like it screws off and hoses comming out of the lid...can i just unscrew it? i just wanna look in and see whats in there (besides the gas duh) and then if i see stuff in the tank with the gas like SUGAR! or something else foreign, then ill pump all the gas out..take the tank out and clean that thing. would that be ok? and dont even think about tell me to leave it to proffesionals cause we have no money to pay for that and im the only one willing to put in the effert to fix this thing, my bf just wants to sell it but i know if you all just help me with this i know ill be able to fix it with your support and back up. I know i can do this..i tried looking in the archives but there not detailed enough for me.
