Hopefully this is the right place to post this message. My sister has a '96 960 and I was driving it last night and the instrument cluster lights just shut off. I pulled into a gas station and chekced the fuse. Everyone fuse was good. I was late for a date so i just used my cell phone to check my speed every 5 minutes. When I got out of the movie theatre, about an hour and a half later the instrument lights came on for about 2 minutes then shut off again. Once i finished eating at our restaraunt the instruments lights would turn on again, this time for about 10 minutes, then they shut off again. This is the first time anything like this had happened she said. The ran fine the rest of the time. I don't know what to check and don't want to pay the crazy charges my mechanic would just to check it out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
