How manyy lbs of 134a 700

I have a 1989 Volvo 740 Turbo with a Volvo AC convertion Kit. The convertion sticker states -90 lbs of 134a. Is that correct? The outside temp was 100 and the 134a bottle stated to use only 50-55lbs. What is the correct amt on a 134a convertion?
