My car has 165,000 milles on it. Over tha last few months oil consumption increased dramatically. It uses quart of oil every 400 miles.
Car smokes noticeably through exhaust. Also, if i lift the dip stick, it pushes smoke out if its tube. Other than obvious engine deteriation, what else could be contributing to this condition ? I never did maintenence on "oil trap".
If it was blocked, what would be the result ?
Is there a PCV valve on 1986 740 turbo (B230) engine ?
