What's the current thinking on the (metric) B20? 1975

for some time, the '74-5 "metric" B20 was considered the block to build an OHV engine out of. I think it was mostly because parts were cheaper and/or more easily available if you wanted to overbore.

overboring seems to have gone out of favor though.

I have one such long block in "rebuildable" condition, but have had no takers. Has this engine fallen out of favor? Should it just be sent off for scrap?
