What's the current thinking on the (metric) B20? 1975

All of my stuff is 6-bolt, even the internals of the 8-bolt block on
my 122 wagon. Nearly as I can tell there is not a lot thicker cylinder
wall on the later B20s but that is just hearsay. (I've heard both ways.)
