ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT 200 1980

I have a 1980 245 k-jet b21f manual that has lived most of its life above 7000ft. - running very well

Now it is at near sea level - not running well (hesitation and bucking)

This all started gradually as I was driving across country..and it has happened before. So, I am wondering if it could be altitude related, and what I need to check.
