door beeper problem 700 1989

I was removing a cd changer this weekend in my 89 740gle with my friend and now whenever the key is in the ignition, the beeping sound comes on that should only be on when the key is in and the drivers door is open. the beeping even stays on when the car is running.
I would like to know if it is an easy fix or where the beeper is so that I may disconnect it seeing as how it really serves no use. I appreciate all help. Thanks,
