On the way to work today, I spotted two wagons, a 240SE and a 740SE, which got me thinking about the "SE" designation.
Checking on Autotrader reveals that the SE models produced for the 200-, 700-, and 900-series cars are from 1991. Did any other years have the specific "SE" models? (I know that there were the Classic 240s in 1993, and a few other special models over the years.)
Why did Volvo decide to do a production-wide "Special Edition" of all car models?
