With new tires installed, the world is now our oyster 140-160

Just kidding. But isn't it amazing the difference a new set of Michelins will do? There were all sorts of rough-around-the-edges things about the Yellow Hornet that are now completely gone, vanished into some parallel universe where only Eastern European cars rule the roads. (Trabants everywhere, and nary a Volvo in sight).

I went up from the stock 165R-15s to a beautiful set of Michelin 185 65R-15s. Everything is quieter, the handling is better, the steering has an actual "feel" to it, and even the engine seems stronger (could be the placebo effect). There is no longer a shimmy and a shake at 75mph, and now I just can't understand why other cars around me are not picking up on this aura.

Anyhow - have a great Thursday, everyone.

Ross in Lethbridge, Alberta, 1970 145 (shocking yellow).
