just died...help 200

hi guys....i was driving my 77 242 today .....i pulled into a parking to get something at the store....when i got back in i turned the key to start the car but for some reason it wouldn't start. while trying to turn over the oil light kinda flickered then went off....after about 3 or 4 seconds.....i don't know whats wrong.....anything would help....thanks
