please help 900

my 93 940 wagon, auto trans, is acting up a little, for about 5-6 weeks now every once and a while it would not shift gears, turn it off check a couple of things and restart the car and all is good, I bring it to a shop and it does not do this (of course) but last night I noticed the up arrow on my display was lit very dim but it was lit. and today while driving in on the highway while doing about 60 the car sputtered felt like it lost power then came back, it did this a couple of times pulled over to the side shut it off tried to restart. it did not start, tried it again and it worked fine, and ran fine for the rest of the ride in about 10 more minutes.

computer, electrical, fuel, any information is helpfull.
