I replaced my front brake pads and after a few dozen pumps, I noted that the right front caliper now tends to make a sonorous noise, which the Car Talk guys sometimes calls "sympathetic." The noise is not a grind, but more like a throaty vibration that resembles a glass harmonica. But it doesn't do it all the time; the brake pedal does not pulse, either. Last time it happened, I replaced the antisqueal shims. Could it be this easy?
