I hope this is the final product. I am going right now to install and see what I get. I know the brightness is ok so the rest is soon to be seen. I was asked the cost of one light. The LED cost me American,$3.99, the resistors were 1.19 for 5 and the holder was 1.29 for 5, I had a lot of heat shrink so it was free. Keep in mind that the black holders are the original holders from the gauges themselves, I only pulled the metal pins out and used the empty plastic holders. The 5 mm LEDs fit in perfectly. I listed the part numbers in a previous post so please refer to it. All the parts and prices are listed on the Radio Shack site. I like the dome light so if you can please send me the specs so that I may try it. And to the last question , no I have never seen the post about the series 70 conversion but I will look at it soon as I finish here.
