hello when i am doing low speed manuevers with the steering on my 89 245, the hweels seem to go too far. The tires start gripping way to har (like the angle isnt good for them to roll correctly) and its like the want to start bouncing. Now i have been planning on changing my rack due to leaks and other weekness' in staright line stability on the highway, i have changed the inner and outer tie's, and have had it alligned...it had been driven on a horrible allignment for at least a year i think before i bought it last september. Could the gearing inthe rack be worn so bad that it will goto far? what actually stops the rack from too much travel? when the wheels get to the point of wanting to jump almost, the steering wheel almost "falls" over to the full right or left whichever i am turning...sound familiar? i hope so!
Robert
