760T - Timing Belt Skip Possible? 700

Can a timing belt skip a notch somehow and create a situation where the engine cycle is out of synch? I have a rich running situation (see post below this one) and the only element not checked is the AMM and I was wondering if there is a possibility the crank shaft and the cam are out of sync and that full detonation is not occurring - hence the rich running engine - now that I think if it - it doesn't make sense but I'll put it out there for more knowledgeable folks.

Thanks
