Fuel Delivery Issue 200 1982

Hello All,

Over the past month I have been doing work on my K-Jet fuel system. I have replaced the filter and the main pump. I still had some spiting sounds but no driving problems. Today I changed the in-tank pump and found the rubber hose for the pump broken open. I changed everything and the car started right up with no noise. When I took the in-tank fuse out the car continued to run (it would not do this before) but it spit a little due to a low tank. It looked like I had finally cured the problem until I put the fuse back in and the car stopped about 5 seconds later. It will not start. This is what I have done with fuses 5&7 jumped:

Checked for a steady fuel flow into main pump=OK (In-tank working)
Checked for fuel at input of fuel filter=NO (No output from main)
Checked at output of accumulator= Weak pulse (No output, should be about 70pPSI)
Main pump drawing about 7Amps=OK
In-Tank drawing about 2Amps=OK

What would cause the fuel to stop flowing that quickly when the fuse for the in-tank put back in. Could the accumulator have crapped out with the pressure increase or has the main pump stopped working. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Mario
