Door Trim Question 1800

I have a '67 1800S according to DMV info and previous owner knowledge. It has never been in an accident requiring new trim. The trim on my doors is not straight but follows the lines of the car. I was looking at pictures online of other '67's and noticed that the trim lines on those were straight. Do you all know if the trim varied at all? Why does my trim look like a '66?
